The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, recognized as the body that selects and awards the Nobel Prize, has decided to honor Ohtsura Niwa with the Gold Medal for Radiation Protection.
On Saturday, January 27, 2024, a group of 10 individuals, including members of the NPO Fukushima Dialogue and concerned persons, visited the Narita Airport and Community Hirstorical Museum.
On Friday 8 September 2023, a meeting was held between the French Institute of Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety (IRSN), the French Nuclear Protection Evaluation Centre (CEPN) and NPO Fukushima Dialogue (NPO-FD) to discuss future cooperation.
From 5-7 September 2023, NPO Fukushima Dialogue participated in the Third NEA Workshop on Stakeholder Involvement: optimisation in decision-making, held at the OECD headquarters in Paris, France.
The 25th Fukushima Dialogue ‘Living Together After the Nuclear Accident’ is going to be held on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October at Namie and Futaba town, Fukushima Prefecture.
NPO Fukushima Dialogue views on the discharge of treated water
The Annual General Meeting of the NPO Fukushima Dialogue was held last June 14, 2023. At this occasion, the NPO Members approved the business report for 2022 along with the planned activities for 2023.
